The following is an explanation of how factions will be executed, in order to prevent any confusion.
-First off, Duty and Freedom will both be located within Yanov Station. A ceasefire is in effect there, meaning no violent action between the two will be allowed inside. Outside the station, anything goes. Use some logic about this, though. Having a guy stand next to the door and shoot an opposing faction member as soon as he steps outside is still off-limits.
-Any faction leader will be allowed to create and offer jobs to Stalkers. The rewards offered for these jobs must come from the faction's own funds, though, as they will be given no money.
-Faction leaders will also be allowed to temporarily "hire" Stalkers to help them with a current mission.
-Faction leaders are chosen via interviews in Steam chat. Once a leader is in place, they will be considered the faction's moderator. They will also be made moderator of the faction's board, and will be responsible for creating an information thread, roster, and application format. Any additional threads they choose to create will be allowed.
-Faction leaders will be allowed to decide who is added to, or removed from, the faction (OOCly). Players may only be removed from a faction OOCly due to OOC reasons, such as improper faction RP, or faction abuse.
-The only times staff will interfere with factions are if the faction leader is involved in improper RP or if there is an imbalance of more than two members between factions. At that point, further application to the faction with more members will be closed until the imbalance is naturally evened out.
-Corruption can (and probably will) happen within factions. If someone acquires undeniable proof of this and reports it to the leader of the pertaining faction, the faction leader can choose to ICly kick the guilty character out of the faction (as well as confiscating anything they have) or execute them.
This list will be updated if necessary.
