Do you understand that as a technician, your character will be confined to Yanov station, and will not be able to leave for any reason?
As long as there is work for her to keep her occupied, she will stay and do her job, otherwise, she may venture around a little, not too far, of course.
Do you understand that as a technician, you will not be able to simply purchase things for yourself from the business menu? You must have the preceding item, and RP upgrading it before you will be able to obtain the upgraded version.
What you described (At the first part.) is ass-pulling stuff, of course I will rp upgrading the said item before I could get it, and then give the logs to an admin.
Why do you want to RP as a technician?
Because I believe it is a fun kind of roleplay where you can always see something new, also, you can't just get lol-shot by the Monolith of bandits... (Sorry, TnB is notorious for having unkillable Monos and Powergaming bandits...)
What makes you think you can properly RP a technician?
I did it for a while on TnB before I made a mistake of repairing something that I ICLY shouldn't have known how to fix, then I got kicked out of it, I believe I am able to do that due to having experience in working with this sort of stuff IC.

How did your character become a technician?
She learned from a Monolith technician after she was converted, this was her task since the last Technician died, she was the replacement.
How did your character obtain tools in the Zone?
When the Monolith fled from their temporary base, she grabbed all the tools she could fit into a backpack, ignoring weapons and such, and then fled, but a blowout took place soon on the way and she hid in a small underground bunker, one that had concrete walls and basically blocked out the psy waves that was keeping her tied to the remains of the 'Monolith' she soon realized that the voices from her head were gone, she sat and whimpered, calling out for her brethren but only silence answered her, she cried and screamed before she left, rubbing the side of her head as she tried to think, but she just looked around, wandering as she no longer knew where her brothers are, soon wandering into a building where she took some rest, regaining some of her conscience, realizing that she has been pulled around on a string. Well, this is how she started to wander, hoping to find a place where she can figure out what happened to her.
